Advanced Therapies in GI: More Than Just IBD
Session Objectives:
- Have reviewed some of the more common but less well studied immune conditions affecting the GI tract
- Be more likely to consider biologics and other advanced therapies in the management of these conditions when refractory
- Keep in mind that our knowledge of immune regulation continues to evolve, reminding us to adjust our diagnoses and approaches along the patient journey

Dr. James Gregor is a staff Gastroenterologist at London Health Sciences Centre/ St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario and a Professor of Medicine at Western University. He is a former Chief of Medicine at Victoria Hospital, President of the Ontario Association of Gastroenterology and Chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Current areas of special interest include colorectal cancer prevention and the diagnosis and management of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
