Dr. Shlomovitz is a minimally invasive surgeon, therapeutic endoscopist and interventional radiologist the University Health Network. His Interventional Radiology practice includes a special interest in percutaneous interventions of the biliary tract.
Dr. Shlomovitz completed his medical school at the University of Western Ontario and pursued a hybrid residency in General Surgery and Radiology at the University of Toronto. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship specializing in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery and surgical endoscopy at the Oregon Clinic in Portland.
Dr. Shlomovitz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto. His research concentrates on the development, implementation, and evaluation of hybrid therapeutic techniques.
