WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIR

Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the OAG 29th  Annual Conference and Business Meeting at the Marriott Downtown Toronto Eaton Centre! I hope you have had a wonderful and restorative summer that thankfully seems to have translated into warmer September/October weather but now that fall is really coming, I am glad you chose to spend this weekend with fellow gastroenterologists and friends from around Ontario.

It is such a pleasure to see so many familiar faces and reunite to explore the "Upside Down of GI Health" with our Stranger Gut Things theme. I personally am very excited to hear from the slate of amazing provincial, national and international experts we have arranged to present for you this year, as well as the social programs organized topped off by the gala. This year we honour Dr. David Baron, an OAG Pat President and long-standing colleague who has worked tirelessly for all gastroenterologists in Ontario for so many years, with the OAG Distinguished Service Award.
